View backup storage usage
Published 9/28/2026· 18 views
Backup storage is provisioned per site for your organization. Open a Cloud Pool's Backups tab to see how full it is.
Steps
- Sign in to the client portal.
- Open Compute → Cloud pools and select a pool.
- Open the Backups tab.
- Review Backup storage at the top of the tab:
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Heading | Site code and pool name |
| Status | active, pending (still provisioning), or disabled |
| Usage | Measured bytes used vs. quota (when active) |
How this relates to policies
- Backup storage on the pool Backups tab answers "how much backup space am I using?"
- The same tab's policy list answers "which schedules protect which VMs?"
- Each VM Backups tab lists that machine's backup runs.
See Backup policies for Cloud Pools to create and attach schedules.
Tips
- If status is pending, wait for provisioning to finish before expecting successful backup runs.
- High usage means retention may need tightening or you may need more backup capacity on your plan.
